Trellist recently helped a parking company optimize their website for mobile users. The company manages over 100 parking facilities including a self-park lot at the Philadelphia airport.
The organization, for which Trellist is the Agency of Record, tapped Trellist to convert their entire website to an updated platform and improve the mobile experience. Trellist analyzed the mobile users’ behaviors and needs and compared the pros and cons of a new responsive design vs. a mobile optimized website. Since mobile users have different needs than desktop users and are almost strictly focused on reservations, directions and rates, Trellist recommended a mobile optimized website be created. This approach was more cost effective and focused on user needs than converting the entire site to responsive.
Since the new mobile optimized website was launched, the site has seen an increase in both traffic and reservations.
