Hearing aimed at increasing city’s support of tech, innovation
Trellist CEO and Founding Partner David Atadan spoke in front of the Philadelphia City Council on April 3 to discuss growing the city’s entrepreneurial efforts and increasing support of the technology and innovation community. Atadan and four other area business leaders shared their experiences and expertise with the council, urging them to spur economic development in Philadelphia by nurturing technology and innovation, encouraging creativity, and attracting and retaining top-level talent.
The hearing was held in conjunction with the fourth annual Philly Tech Week, hosted throughout the city and featuring more than 120 events that brought together thought leaders, industry experts, and technology enthusiasts to develop concepts and discuss trends that can advance Philadelphia’s tech and innovation economy. Trellist was the exclusive sponsor of Philly Tech Week’s Media Track and host of the track’s afternoon event, “The Future of Digital Marketing.”
