Local production of classic musical opens June 13

For Trellist employee Troy Sheaffer, he balances his role as web developer with his passion for performing – be it acting, singing, or both. Last month, Troy landed the role of Orin the Dentist in a local production of Little Shop of Horrors. (The character was portrayed by Steve Martin in the 1986 film version.)Troy is very active in the local theater community, belonging to several theater groups such as Wilmington Drama League and City Theater Company. He got his start playing various characters at the Delaware Children’s Theatre, then moved to roles including Adam in Children of Eden and Peter in Jesus Christ Superstar.
“I hadn’t seriously considered musical theater as something to do after graduating college,” said Sheaffer. “But discovering this outlet has been fantastic.
