Launching a Redesigned Secure Site with Personalization

A top U.S. asset management firm set out to launch a major redesign of its authenticated secure site — a complex, multi-team initiative with a hard launch date and no room for sequential handoffs between UX, development, and QA.

The Situation

The client needed a partner who could coordinate independently across three internal teams, provide daily status reporting, and keep Adobe projects on track — without disrupting the broader program. Trellist stepped in as the embedded technical partner, providing senior front-end development expertise alongside deep Adobe Target knowledge.

Hypothesis

By creating a streamlined preview of the new secure site experience with a clear, intuitive opt-in toggle, users would be more likely to engage — because transparency and ease of control build trust and reduce friction.

Platforms Used

Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Launch, Jira

The Solution

  • Coordinated independently across three client teams — reporting daily so the project manager could stay focused on broader objectives

  • Developed the public-facing Coming Soon page with the client's UX team, embedding a Micro Frontend (MFE) via Adobe Target

  • Built a thumb survey into the Target page variation to capture qualitative user feedback

  • Created a phased rollout toggle in Adobe Target — enabling audience-controlled activation of the redesign for all Investor clients

  • Oversaw QA and ensured accessibility standards were met throughout

  • Ensured seamless integration between public-facing and authenticated environments

The Impact

  • Launched the Coming Soon page on time — a major milestone in the broader secure site rollout

  • Enabled a phased rollout approach the client could not have achieved without Trellist's coordination and technical execution

  • Delivered engagement insights through A/B testing, experience targeting, and embedded qualitative feedback

  • Established a scalable personalization infrastructure for future secure site improvements
