Launching a new science incubator with a Day One website and collateral

The challenge

A new incubator for biological and chemical startups was being formed as a joint venture between a state government, a global science company, and a public research university. It needed a website and marketing collateral to promote its new facility.

The timeline was short. A press release was coming, media inquiries would follow, and the incubator's small marketing team needed a site they could run on their own once the launch was over.

What we did

Trellist split the launch into two stages so the incubator could be ready for the announcement without compromising the finished site.

  • A Day One website. We focused first on a launch-ready site built to support the initial press release and field media inquiries.
  • A full responsive WordPress site. The complete site followed on a standardized parallax template that works on any device.
  • Marketing collateral to match. Complementary materials carried the same story and look into conversations with startups, partners, and press.
  • Subject matter expertise. Trellist's own experts helped shape how the incubator described its market and its offering to science founders.
