The challenge
Our client was introducing a new internal methodology and needed a home for everything that came with it: documents, templates, and links to related resources. Employees had to be able to find the right material quickly, or adoption would stall.
Scattered files and generic search results made that hard. The team needed a structure that was easy to maintain as content grew, and a search that understood how the company actually organized its information.
What we did
Trellist designed and implemented an internal site that organized the methodology's content and made it easy to search.
- An organized content structure. We created an easy-to-use structure for distributing documents and links, so content owners could keep it current without a lot of effort.
- A design that reflects the brand. The site looks and feels like the company, which helps a new methodology feel official and trusted from day one.
- A user-friendly document library. We shaped the collection of documents into an interface built for finding the right information fast.
- Search with metadata refiners. A site-wide search queries the content within the site and lets people narrow results by the metadata that matters most to the business.
