The challenge
A 50th anniversary comes once in a generation. Our client wanted to mark it with something its audiences had never seen: a custom mini site built around an animated, scrollable timeline of five decades of innovation, industry firsts, and client value.
The date was fixed. UX strategy, component development, content authoring, and front-end build all had to happen in parallel, and the experience called for custom AEM components with no off-the-shelf equivalent.
What we did
Trellist joined the client's MarTech team as an embedded enterprise partner, working across brand, marketing, and UX from the first day.
- Parallel tracks, one plan. A detailed project plan let front-end build and custom component development run at the same time.
- Capacity on demand. We deployed AEM component developers and AEM authors in tandem, adding capacity where and when the project needed it.
- Custom components from scratch. Animation, parallax scrolling, video integration, and interactive timeline controls were purpose-built for this experience.
- Every screen covered. The experience is fully responsive across device form factors and screen orientations.
- Accessibility built in. We held to accessibility standards throughout, in line with the client's enterprise quality requirements.
