Technical Program Manager, Enterprise Accounts

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to help run and maintain a longtime enterprise client-partner relationship. Qualified candidates should have a good working knowledge of code foundations and be able to creatively problem solve with both the client, the team, and other technology partners.

Ideal candidates have a technical background and are looking to build and grow consultative skills across project management, client relationship building, and team leadership. You will be working with a small team of front and back-end developers, quality assurance specialists, designers and user experience leads to maintain a pipeline of both small and large projects ranging from issue remediation to new product launches.

Due to the complexity of the technology and historic nature of the account, individuals will work closely with the current program manager to transition over the course of the year to fully ensure a smooth transition.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 5+ years program management experience across technical accounts
  • Professionalism as a primary point-of-contact for clients, effectively communicating concepts, issues, and program status to stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills when driving program direction, client goals, and resolution of complex issues
  • Employ sound judgement and strong decision-making skills to drive risk mitigation initiatives, program planning and project issue resolution
  • Lead the program strategy, vision, and execution plan in close collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Maintain program objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and success criteria to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of technical projects, spanning application development, infrastructure enhancements, data management, and digital initiatives
  • Identify and prioritize projects based on their impact and alignment with the client’s roadmap
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration across various departments, including Information Technology (IT), business units, finance, and risk management
  • Facilitate regular meetings and status updates to ensure stakeholders are informed of project progress and changes
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may arise during project execution. Develop risk management plans and work with project teams to implement appropriate risk responses
  • Exhibit experience with Agile methodologies and principles around sprints, pivoting, and deliverables
  • Champion continuous improvement and innovation by combining lessons learned with best practice approaches
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful benefits realization post-project completion. Measure and track the achievement of expected outcomes
  • Conduct project audits to assess compliance with established policies, processes, and regulatory requirements, ensuring projects adhere to relevant standards and regulations
  • Apply consulting skills to meet client needs
  • Adept using issue management software like Jira

    CANDIDATE NICE-TO-HAVE QUALITIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

        • Familiarity with Velocity Templating Engine
        • Experience leading projects in the financial industry
        • Network administrator / network engineer experience
        • Frontend Development Experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
