Social Media Marketing Lead

We're looking for an experienced social media marketing lead to serve as a consultant and marketing strategist on client accounts. It's a role that goes beyond content planning and calendaring; the ideal candidate will be both a channel strategist and a B2B marketer, with the ability to develop robust social media playbooks while also having the strategic vision to understand how social media best fits into a client's omni-channel marketing strategy and employee advocacy goals.

We're looking for someone who can work with our clients to understand their marketing objectives and outline their customer journeys, and then collaborate with internal creative teams to meet those goals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, public relations, or corporate communications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge and proven success in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns, including social media playbooks and employee advocacy programs
  • Experience in planning and organizing paid and organic content for social media
  • Confidence in sharing campaign and data insights with our clients to help them more effectively engage with their audiences
  • Proficiency in the administrative modules of social platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
  • Ability to work with internal creative teams and external client teams to develop and optimize content within designated channels
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, presentation, and research skills
  • Comfortable working in a self-managing environment and as part of a collaborative team

Candidate Nice-to-Have Qualities (but not limited to):

  • Experience with modern marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, etc.
  • Experience with social listening and social media management and analytics tools, such as Sprinklr and Sprout Social.
  • Experience content management systems (CMS), such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, and Sitefinity
  • SEO / SEM exposure and experience
