Social Media Creative Writer and Producer

We’re looking for a different breed of contributor. Someone that’s a hybrid of executional expertise combined with the ability to think strategically across the costumer journey, but specifically able to execute on social media.

This role will be a key part of a cross disciplinary creative team and will attract someone who can help bring together strategy and creative.

You will help develop and shape creative concepts for social media marketing engagement and conversion across a variety of client projects. This role will partner closely with creative development teams, advertising, planning, and brand counterparts in seeing ideas through to execution. Your concepts should push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in digital and social environments.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Act as the lighthouse and champion of social creative, synthesizing strategy and social opportunities in a way that brings the best work possible to social and digital platforms
  • Contribute to social strategy for clients, in addition to campaign level strategy and tactics
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in the social media landscape in order to inform creative partners and broader groups on the latest and greatest social opportunities and work collaboratively with team members on concepts that align with paid opportunities
  • Act as a reliable “go-to” for creative partners on the do’s and don’ts of social and digital. Forge new creative opportunities through fluency in social features, trends, usages, etc.
  • Guide and ensure creative deliveries are optimized for social deliveries by partnering closely with advertising and brand team members

Requirements:

 

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a writing capacity, deploying digital campaigns across all major social media platforms
  • A strong portfolio of digital and social media activations to share with our team
  • Fluency with social platforms from strategic and feature-based perspectives
  • Heavy user of social platforms, intuitive understanding of behavioral and technology trends
  • Current with social platform features, related content formats and requirements
  • Familiar with fundamentals of video production for digital/social platforms
  • Able to collaborate closely with deep functional producers, including graphic design and video/photography, while cultivating strong partnerships with account teams and clients
  • Remote work candidates will be considered

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, English or related discipline required
