Search Engine Optimization Analyst/Consultant

Amazing opportunity to join a growing digital team.  We’re looking for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) expert with a solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and a track record of consistently improving organic search results for clients.  The ideal candidate is analytical by nature with a strong desire to grow their skillset.  If you have a talent for turning data into actionable insights, then this is the position for you. 


In this role, you will have end-to-end responsibility for managing SEO projects across a diverse set of clients.  The SEO Analyst/Consultant splits time between ongoing SEO engagements, short-duration SEO consulting projects and providing SEO support for website development/redesign projects.  This person will be responsible for managing SEO campaigns, identifying opportunities to improve clients’ sites’ rank, and generating reports for all clients.  Must be able to analyze and deploy SEO best practices for website builds and existing websites.


You must be able to work independently with sole responsibility for some deliverables.  Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment are required.  Success is heavily dependent on your ability to prioritize tasks and compete projects on time.


  • Develop, implement, manage and optimize SEO campaigns while serving as the primary day to day contact for internal and external SEO efforts
  • Be the ‘project’ manager for SEO efforts on assigned accounts
  • Perform keyword research, write optimized HTML tags, provide content recommendations, and consult on website architecture (internal linking, schema mark up, etc.)
  • Leverage your expertise in technical SEO to ensure client websites are created and maintained properly
  • Help clients bridge the gap between SEO, content, and social media
  • Monitor changes in the digital space to identify new opportunities to keep our clients ahead of the curve
  • Utilize tools such as Screaming Frog, MOZ, Keyword Planner, Google Search Console (aka Webmaster Tools), Google Analytics and others to perform analysis of client websites
  • Analyze and report campaign performance data to provide actionable insights for clients and internal teams

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years managing SEO, preferably with an agency
  • Knowledge of organic search ranking factors with the ability to make recommendations on HTML optimizations
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, MOZ, Keyword Planner, Google Search Console (aka Webmaster Tools), Google Analytics, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing SEO for both B2C and B2B clients
  • Be familiar with social listening and how it can help drive content strategy
  • A basic understanding of paid media and how SEO can help support overall marketing efforts
  • Ability to multi-task and manage workflow in a high-energy, collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Must be self-managed and able to communicate
  • Experience scoping and estimating SEO projects is a plus.



  • BA/BS in Marketing or related field with 2-4 years of business experience; SEO experience required
  • High level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities and detail oriented

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Comfortable working with budgets and numbers
