We're looking for an experienced medical-focused editor who is a proven and deliberate proofreader to help us uphold quality standards of health care brand initiatives.

You will be tasked with copy editing, fact-checking, and proofreading a variety of promotional and educational materials for physicians, other health care professionals, and patients from manuscript through print or digital production.

With an eye for detail, you will be expected to work with your team to ensure that the highest quality of work is being produced. You will be challenged to lead other editors in best practices related to medical fact-checking and annotation.

Candidate Must-have Qualities:

• 4+ years of professional editing experience, preferably within an agency
• Deep knowledge and proven success in health care, pharma, or medical editing
• Proficiency in referencing and citing medical publications for marketing materials as well as annotating compliant content for regulatory approval process
• Expertise in verifying accuracy of data and claims by fact-checking against referenced documents
• Ability to ensure all materials follow client editorial style
• Proficiency with AMA style guide
• Confidence in tracking feedback from multiple contributors
• Detail-oriented

• Strategic & critical thinker
• Independent problem-solver

Hiring Requirement

Candidates will be expected to pass an editorial test as part of the interview process, and may provide a portfolio or present relevant work examples, focusing on what you contributed to the projects.
