The individual we seek will be highly organized and have the ability to handle inbound and outbound emails and calls to customers surrounding our multiple technology products. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing, building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships amongst the team. This is considered a part-time, on-call position at times and at others you will be multi-tasking the customer support desk while completing operational work to help the team build success. It is anticipated you will be working 10-20 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing incoming Customer Service inquiries within our standardized response times
- Intermittent monitoring Help Desk throughout entire scheduled shift to ensure timely answers to inquiries
- Actively analyzing inquiries and answering tickets will be paid at a standard hourly rate, while on-call monitoring and being available will be paid at a partial rate
- Operational assignments noted below will be available at times during those on-call periods at the standard hourly rate
- Content edits to client account information on varying tech platforms
- Processing refunds, credits and discounts as appropriate
- Back-end operational work on client accounts including event creation, and other work, as needed
- Analyzing and communicating bug reports in a timely manner
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience with all Microsoft products but especially Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn specialized systems
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to easily transition between multiple tasks
- Responsible for exhibiting high level of professionalism and represent the values of the company and turn customer detractors into promoters
- Provide necessary feedback, training needs analysis and suggestions to improve customer service cycle through collaboration with teammates
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to dissect a problem
- Provide a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers/peers
- Applicable experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in a customer service or customer-facing environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Willingness to work a variety of hours, primarily on-call in the evenings during weekdays. Hours can include until 1am ET, and weekends between 7am and 1am ET, as business needs dictate
- Ability to learn and apply critical thinking to multiple tech platforms
- Work independently
- Challenge self and others to think critically
- Is confident in skills but humble in attitude
