The individual we seek will be highly organized and have the ability to handle inbound and outbound emails and calls to customers surrounding our multiple technology products. Additionally, you will be responsible for establishing, building and maintaining positive and collaborative relationships amongst the team. This is considered a full-time position which consists of multi-tasking the customer support desk while completing operational work and sales support calls to help the team build success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Processing incoming Customer Service inquires within our standardized response times
- Intermittent monitoring of Help Desk throughout entire scheduled shift to ensure timely answers to inquiries
- Actively analyzing inquiries and answering tickets will be paid at a standard rate
- Operational assignments noted below will also be available at the standard rate
- Content edits to client account information on varying tech platforms
- Processing refunds, credits and discounts as appropriate
- Back-end operational work on client accounts including event creation, scripted lead-generation support calls, and other work, as needed
- Analyzing and communicating bug reports in a timely manner
- Outbound sales support calls to clients and business leads, as needed
- Commission available for success beyond hourly rate
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience with all Microsoft products but especially Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to learn specialized systems
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience in a customer service or customer-facing environment
- Ability to effectively make outbound warm calls to clients and business leads with the intent to schedule appointments or provide a value proposition to gauge interest
- Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to dissect a problem
- Provide a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers/peers
- Responsible for exhibiting high level of professionalism and represent the values of the company and turn customer detractors into promoters
- Provide necessary feedback, training needs analysis and suggestions to improve customer service cycle through collaboration with teammates
- Applicable experience in lieu of degree
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Willingness to work a variety of hours, primarily in the evenings during weekdays. Hours can be up until 1am ET, and weekends between 7am and 1am ET, as business needs dictate
- Ability to learn and apply critical thinking to multiple tech platforms
- Ability to easily transition between multiple tasks
- Work independently
- Is confident in skills but humble in attitude
