We are currently seeking a Content marketing strategist to serve as a marketing communications specialist and content developer on client accounts. It's a role that goes beyond copywriting; the ideal candidate will be a thinker, marketer and writer, with the ability to develop creative, engaging content, while also having the strategic vision to understand how it fits into the big picture and how to tailor it toward specific audience segments.

In this role, you will work with our clients to understand their marketing and communication objectives, and then collaborate with internal creative teams to execute on content that will meet those goals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, corporate communications, or direct response marketing
  • Knowledge and proven success in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Experience in providing copy direction and developing content for a wide variety of media including direct marketing, digital advertising, print collateral, and social media
  • Ability to develop and support a brand's messaging platform, while writing clear, engaging, and consistent messaging for the target audience
  • Confidence in sharing content, campaign, and messaging strategic insights with our clients to help them more effectively engage with their audiences
  • Collaborating on thoughtful and engaging marketing campaigns that drive new business, add-on/expansion, and partnership opportunities
  • Helping develop content that showcases our product and client successes, positioning us as the leader in the parent engagement and higher education spaces
  • Ability to work with internal creative teams and external client teams to develop and optimize content
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, presentation, and research skills
  • Comfortable working in a self-managing environment and as part of a collaborative team

Candidate Nice-to-Have Qualities (but not limited to):

  • Experience with corporate messaging, PR, and change management communications
  • Planning and executing on event strategies for onsite and virtual conferences
  • Experience with building brand awareness for B2B, financial or health care institutions
  • Experience with modern marketing and customer relationship management (CRM) tools, such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot, etc.
  • Experience content management systems (CMS), such as Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress, and Sitefinity
  • SEO / SEM exposure and keyword research experience
  • Audience segmentation and personalization
