Delaware Marketing And Technology Firm Promotes Philadelphia Tourism For The Holiday Season Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation extends popular ad campaign with new holiday theme from Trellist™ Marketing and Technology

Wilmington, DE – With the holiday season in full swing, The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC) has teamed up with Delaware’s Trellist Marketing and Technology to give tourists another reason why Philly’s More Fun When You Sleep Over®.

Trellist created a holiday campaign for GPTMC to position a weekend in Philadelphia as a unique holiday shopping alternative to crowded, overheated malls, as well as provide the resources to plan a memorable getaway to the city. The campaign includes a contest, hotel incentive and website, www.gophila.com/holidays.

Launched Nov. 21st, the website uncovers the hidden boutiques and shops that visitors may not typically go to. The site’s “Great Philly Gift Guide” highlights 50 of the most interesting gifts the city has to offer. Complete with an interactive map of stores, restaurants, and Philadelphia landmarks, the site provides all the necessary tools to plan an overnight trip.

When people visit the site, they feel the energy and fun that lights up this city during the holidays. They realize that there is more to see and do than they ever knew about,” said Chris Wallace, Senior Associate at Trellist. “Visitors get that warm feeling of strolling through the city, having that perfect holiday outing, and finding that perfect holiday gift. The site is all of that wrapped up with a bow for them.

The campaign also keeps with the spirit of giving this time of year and every person who visits the site has the opportunity to receive a $50 gift towards their next hotel reservation. In addition, visitors can enter to win all the gifts featured in the guide.

The multi-channel campaign was developed by Trellist Marketing and Technology of Wilmington, DE, whose unique approach to design and development, coupled with GPTMC’s need for a quick and effective implementation, made the two firms a perfect match.

“We selected Trellist because they came to the table with a ton of ideas – and were ready to hit the ground running to meet our aggressive deadline. They executed a campaign that met all of our marketing goals and creative vision.” said Heather Badorf, GPTMC Advertising Account Director. Together, Trellist and GPTMC worked to produce a successful program that has already increased hotel bookings in Philadelphia and generated a significant amount of hits to the site.
